DOXAMIN is a ministerial department, which exists mainly to carry out the Great Commission, i.e., to spread the Good News of Jesus-Christ all over Haiti and to address people's spiritual needs based on sound biblical principles.  Our commitment to helping the poor is rooted in our Christian faith, which commands us to love our neighbors as ourselves.  This love includes attending to their material as well as their spiritual needs. 

This ministry will be assisting people in Haiti, our members, and our Internet friends with valuable resources needed for living an abundant life. Click here for a diagram showing the biblical framework of human history, usually referred to as the dispensations.
 
As a fundamental rule, DFI does not subscribe to the idea that Haiti's chronic poverty is a result of a curse that God has placed on this tiny nation at some point in the past.  Please consult some of the articles listed on our publications page for more information on the myth of the divine curse.
 
We understand that the individuals and families we seek to help and those who have already received some type of assistance have equal value in God's eyes, and that the major difference is whether or not one has placed his or her faith in the sacrifice of Jesus-Christ. 
 
If you have not already placed your faith in Jesus to receive His salvation, please consider the following four step process to start a new relationship with Him
 
Admit you are a sinner - For everyone has sinned. No one measures up to God's glory.1 And when you sin, the pay you get is death.2
 
Admit Jesus died for sinners like us - For at just the right time Christ died for ungodly people. He died for us when we had no power of our own.3
 
Just believe - For if you believe in your heart that God raised him (Jesus) from the dead then you will be saved.4
 
If you believe, pray - Lord Jesus, I recognize my sins and believe that You died for me. Please forgive me of my sins; I invite You to come into my heart and take complete control.
